Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School Annual Auction
February 10, 2017, 5:30 PM – Midnight

Gary and I wanted to take this opportunity to invite everyone to this year’s auction. If you are new to the community or have not had the opportunity to attend this fundraiser event, we hope you will plan to take part in this fun evening. This blast contains a lot of information about what’s new this year, so please take the time to read through and get all the details about An Evening at Casino Royale. We hope you will be as excited to attend as we are! We also want to thank Ali Barber for agreeing to co-chair the event, as well as thank everyone who will be helping! It takes a lot of people to make the evening a success, but it is also a fun way to earn PIP hours while helping the school raise necessary funds. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you on February 10th!

Therese Clay, Development Director
Gary Green, Principal

What’s New

Casino Games: We will have 16 game tables in the Casino Royale (gym), with the Silent Auction items, which will operate from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The tables will re-open from 10:00 Midnight (after the live auction). Try your hand at Craps, Roulette, Texas Hold’em, and/or Black Jack. You will receive $25 in gaming tokens with each individual registration to get you started (included with paid registration). There will be a token redemption area where you can acquire more tokens for a donation throughout the evening. When you are ready to fold’em for the night, exchange your tokens for opportunity tickets to drop in drawing boxes for a chance to win top secret prizes!

Dancing in the Gym: Dinner and Live Auction will take place in the Secret Agent Hall (Holy Family Hall) from 7:30 to around 10:00 p.m. Afterwards, all guests are invited to head back over to the Casino Royale for dancing and playing at game tables until Midnight. Dessert and coffee will also be available.

Check-In, Check-Out: Both event check-in and check-out for disbursement will take place in the foyer/hallway outside the school office. Disbursement will begin after the Live Auction is finished around 10:00 p.m.

Auction Donations: As we are no longer able to include alcohol in our baskets or packages, we are looking for some specific Scrip donations to help us creatively build-up our baskets/packages. We have developed a “wish list” Scrip Order Form with specialty items we do not normally sell. Please consider purchasing Scrip for a donation from either that list, or the original list, which are both available in the school office. All donation orders will count towards your Parent Scrip Program requirements.

Patron Tables: This year’s High Roller Patron Tables are selling for $1,500 and includes preferred seating for 8 for the dinner and live auction, unlimited drink wristbands, $25 in gaming tokens per person, and a reserved high-top table in the “Casino” near the dance floor. Sign up early as they are limited in availability!

General Reservations: General reservations are $70 per person prior to January 19th and $80 thereafter. Price includes 2 drink tickets and $25 in gaming tokens. No walk-up sales are allowed the night of the event. We will sell unlimited drink wristbands for $30

until January 19th ONLY. There are no exceptions, so please get your reservations in early.

Volunteers Needed

If you are interested in helping out with our auction, please contact Therese Clay, Development Director at Here are some of the immediate things we need help with. This is a great way to earn your PIP hours.

Solicitations: Help by taking a list and making calls to past donors. Callers need to be comfortable making phone calls and procuring donated items.

Opportunity Drawing (formerly known as “raffle”): Oversee school raffle assembly (in December) and then run student contests each week. Gets prizes, run contests, comes up with the raffle concepts. Need 6-8 volunteers each week to help with the raffle, coordinate winning class parties, update meters on classroom doors, etc.

More opportunities will be discussed in future blasts.
