Staff Changes

St. Vincent School has 3 staffing changing to announce. First, Mrs. Sanderson and Mrs. Keochareun (our current half-time pre-k teachers) will both be working full-time in our pre-kindergarten for this coming school year. (There will not be an aide because both teachers will be in the classroom every school day, all day. So, we will continue to have a low student-to-teacher ratio.)

Second, Mrs. Calderbank (our current 1st grade teacher) and Mrs. Williams (our current 3rd grade teacher) will co-teach in 1st grade. They will maintain a full-time aide, just as this year, but the teachers will each work half-time as lead teacher in the classroom. Mrs. Calderbank’s experience in first grade and Mrs. Williams’ years of kindergarten experience will pair very well to provide a wonderful first grade experience for our students.

Lastly, I am happy to announce that, with Mrs. Williams moving to 1st grade, Mrs. Kara Haney will become the 3rd grade teacher. (We will continue to have a full-time aide as well.) Mrs. Haney was our 3rd grade teacher for nine years and took a two-year break with the birth of her youngest son.

Congratulations to all of these teachers on their new assignments!
