New Items, Reminders, and Upcoming Deadlines
Christmas Program, Seating, Dress, and Help
The annual Christmas Program is this Thursday, December 20th at 6:30 PM in the church. We ask that children be to their classrooms at 6:00 PM.
Please note that you may not place an item in a pew to save seats before the church is opened at 6:00. So that seating is as fair as possible, any items left in the pews prior to 6:00 will be moved to the back of the church.
Students must dress in Sunday best or school Mass uniform clothing. Please, no jeans or sweatpants. Also, please do not bring food or drinks into the church.
If your child will not be here for the performance, please inform their teacher. Also, please do not leave any valuables in your vehicle.
Help will be needed immediately following the program to break down the sets, risers, etc. Please consider staying a few minutes to assist. Thank You.
Mr. Larrabee still needs a little help with some of the setup for the Christmas program. He will need helpers to set up risers and bells on:
Wednesday December 19th at 8:15 AM, 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM
Thursday December 20th between 9:30 AM. and 1:00 PM
If you can help him move items during any of those times, please leave a message at 801-527-2056 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org.

The school closely monitors the air quality each day using 3 sources. If the air quality is rated green or yellow, we will have recess outdoors, but if the air quality is orange or worse, we will stay indoors. Please let us know if you would like your child to stay indoors when the air quality is yellow.
Opportunity Drawing Tickets
Your Auction Opportunity Drawing tickets went home last Thursday. We hope you will take the opportunity to speak with family and friends over the holidays about supporting this effort. The money raised benefits our school and helps to enhance our school programs, so we hope you will participate in this fundraiser opportunity! Our first turn-in date is Friday, January 11th. There are more tickets in the office if you need them. Thank you!
This is a reminder to please make sure your child(ren) bring their coat, scarf, gloves, and snow boots to school. Without the correct clothing, children cannot go outside for recess and will need to stay indoors.

Thank You, Mark Vaughn!
A special thanks to Mark Vaughn, father of Miss Cristy in EDP and grandfather of Ainsley Headey. Mark made a mobile cart that he will use for science demonstrations in grades 3, 4, and 5 in the second semester. The cart will also be available for use by teachers in their science instruction. This cart is amazing: 600-pound weight capacity, fireproof, fire extinguisher, 50-foot extension cord and multiple outlets, drawers, casters–All Hand-Made! Thanks, Mark!
There will be a basketball clinic in the St. Vincent Gym for boys and girls on Thursday, December 27. The 4th and 5th grade clinic will be from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., and the clinic for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades will be from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The clinic will be led by Coach Tom Hicks.
This is a change from last week’s blast which said that a clinic would also be held on January 3. That clinic is cancelled.
