Outstanding Employee Awards

St. Vincent School is happy to announce its Outstanding Employees of the Year: Jamie Keochareun & Carol Sanderson (Teachers), and Kat Mitchell (Support Staff)! Our Employees of the Year were honored at the Catholic Schools Week Mass and will be honored at the Diocesan In-service in March, and at an awards dinner in April.

Lego League

The St. Vincent First Lego League team “Le’Go my Lego” made us all proud, with a great showing in the qualifier. The robot placed 12th out of 43 teams that day, and their innovative rainwater harvesting solution and overall teamwork got very good marks from judges. This “trifecta” of STEM-related solutions is a lot of work for the team, supporting each other – and supporting other teams in the spirit of “coopertition” (Cooperation + Competition). Congrats to our team, (in alphabetical order): Carter Barber, Nick Barber, Jack Barklow, Sadie Curtiss, Westley Curtiss, Caroline Foy, Lauren Foy, Genevieve Johnson, Zach Johnson, and Lucinda Larrabee.

This is a quick reminder that there is no school, including Extended Day, on Monday, February 19th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. The program will run from March 12th until June 2nd. Practices will be held at St. Vincent on Mondays from 3:30-5:15. Please visit for more information and to register.

Also, we are looking for volunteers to help with practice. Please contact Alli Gardner if you are interested.
