Middle School Reading Auction
Middle School Reading Auction; Donations needed by May 9th
We are still looking for donations to reward our big time readers! What to donate? Anything a middle schooler likes to do, wear, or eat! Anything from major items to Scrip cards. Include the student’s name with the donation please, an event at the auction is just for the donors.
Middle School Reading Rewards Auction Donations and Volunteers are still needed for this event, for an hour or more. Choose from the following tasks and contact Mrs. Airriess firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Any day until May 4th Bring in donations and invite friends to do so.
- Friday, May 4th 10:30-12:30; Sort items for Live & Silent Auction.
- Friday, May 4th to Tuesday, May 10th; Shop, with gift cards, for last minute items.
- Tuesday, May 8th 3:00-4:00; Write up bid cards with total earned for each student.
- Wednesday, May 9th 8:30-11:30; Set up tables with items.
- Wednesday, May 9th 12:00-3:15; Collect payment from item winners and hand out prizes at the end.
- Wednesday, May 9th 2:30-3:15; Manage the candy store.
Used Uniform Sale
You may start bringing in your gently used uniforms (no holes, no broken buttons or zippers) in a bag labeled with your name to the school office. Those donating will receive FREE DRESS for the last week of school! If you are in 8th grade, you will receive your FREE DRESS starting May 14th. We will be collecting used uniforms until Friday, May 11th.
Used uniforms will be sold on Saturday, May 12th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and May 14th and 15th before and after school in the school gym. This is a great way to save money!
HSA will need help the week before the sale to set up, as well as during the sales times, and help after for clean-up. Remember, volunteers get first pick! 🙂 Click here to sign up to volunteer.
Lost and Found
We will display the lost-and-found items during the used uniform sale in the GYM. Please look through those items to see if any of them belong to you. Any items left in the lost-and-found after Friday, May 25th will be donated to a charity.
Please note that the last day for homework lab will be Thursday, May 10th.
We would like to thank everyone who helped make the KidsEat food and mass collection a great success! The students donated $560 and brought in enough food to fill about 170 backpacks!
Don’t miss out on our Spring Concert, May 8th at 6:30 PM. The Spring Concert will be held in the School Gym.
End of the Year Field Day
We are excited to have a field day this year on Thursday, May 24th. This event is in lieu of our usual swim day. The field day will be for students in grades K-8th. We are looking for volunteers. Please contact the school office if you are able to assist.
Granite School Lunch
We would like to remind everyone that all balances owed to Granite School Lunch must be paid by the last day of school. Granite School Lunch will bill Saint Vincent for any outstanding balances. Balances remaining will be deducted from bank accounts on file June 5th. Please call or stop by the school office with any questions.
Back to School Planning St. Paul’s Place – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Saint Paul’s Place Back To School Shopping Event is August 2-11, 2018. Earn service hours or uniform credit. Please email email@example.com.
Weekly delivery volunteer needed. September 1 – May 1. SPP is looking for a person to deliver online orders from SPP store in Draper to Saint Olaf School in Bountiful. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The May Crowning Ceremony for Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School will be Thursday, May 10th at 2:15 PM. The ceremony will take place in the outside amphitheater (or in the gym if weather is bad).
Please bring PLANTABLE flowers to place in front of Mary at our ceremony. The flowers will be planted on the school grounds after the ceremony to make our campus beautiful. Thank you!

Tent Event 2018 – Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 4 p.m. to Sunday, June 3 after breakfast (on the school field.)
Cost is $60 per family or $15 per individual.
This is a fantastic way to end the school year and start the summer! Join us for an evening of fun with family and friends. You supply your camping gear and favorite beverages. We’ll supply the food and fire. The fun will take care of itself. You don’t want to miss this!

Beer-lympics – Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 4 to 10 p.m. at the home of Shawn and Sarah Lambert.
Cost is $40 per person; limited to 40 people. Adults only.
Each competing couple will be paired with another couple to make a country. The country names and couples will be published on August 4th. The fun begins at 4:30 p.m. with the Calderon lighting and team introductions. At 4:45 p.m. the schedule of event begins with Washers, Ski Pole Horse Shoes, Cornhole, and Lawn Golf which will all be couples events. Followed by Beer Pong Baseball with all of the athletes from your respective country. A medal ceremony will take place around 9:30 p.m. to award medal to the winning countries. The last place team will receive a special award, and the best team uniform that exemplifies their country of origin will also be awarded. Hosted by Shawn & Sarah Lambert and CordeliaBiscayne/Olympic Committee Co-Chairpersons.
Scrip (Gift Card Program)
Last week, we sent your scrip statement home with your child (oldest). Please make sure your child has provided this to you. If you have any questions, please contact the school office.
Extended Day Now Hiring
We are currently hiring part-time caregivers/teachers for after school. Hours would be 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at other times when a substitute teacher is needed. We are also looking for help in the Extended Day Summer Camp, primarily for July. Pay is based on experience. Saint Vincent Library
This is just a reminder that the last day of Library for 8th grade students will be May 4th, and the last day for all other students is May 11th. Please make sure all books are returned.
Vacation Bible School
