Last Day of School – June 3rd

Friday June 3rd is the last day of school. Dismissal will be at 11:00 AM. If your child will be attending Extended Day, please make sure to provide your child with lunch. Granite will not be providing lunch on this day.

School Fees Due June 5th

All fees will be due on June 5th and will automatically be taken out of you tuition account. The fees for the 2016-2017 school year are as follows:

Student Services Fee: K-8th grade, $175 per child (Includes student insurance, Diocesan fees, textbooks, standardized tests, technology fee, workbooks, and yearbook)

Math Fee: 6th – 8th grade, $150 per child

Graduation Fee: 8th grade only $75

All fees are non-refundable. If you do not have the automatic withdrawal account, please send a check to the school office by June 5th.

Farewell Mr. Stack

Tyler Stack, our technology teacher, has accepted a 4th grade position at Rowland Hall School. Mr. Stack has been a beloved member of the staff for 4 years. We will miss him and wish him well in his new job. Please contact Mr. Green ( if you have any recommendations for the position of technology teacher for next school year.

Student Council

Congratulations to Nicholas Falkner, 2016-2017 Student Council President and to Clair Poche, Student Council Vice President. Congratulations as well to all of the 2016-2017 Student Council Representatives; Sam Fedor, Genevieve Johnson, Jack Libin, Angelica Converse, Kelsie Kruckenberg and Emily Blair.

Summer Math Books

Summer Math books are available for $15.00. Homeroom teachers will have the math books in their classrooms. These books are required for students entering 1st through 8th grade. Completed books will be turned in the first day of school in the fall. Questions regarding math books may be directed to your child’s teacher.

PIP Hours

This is a reminder that your PIP hours are due by May 31st. You are required to have 20 PIP hours (volunteer hours) for Kindergarten through 8th and 10 PIP hours if you child is in Pre-K 4. Please email the office or stop by the office for any questions.

Request from Saint Vincent de Paul School Faith Formation Committee

Please collect and save any hotel travel soaps and lotions that you may come across this summer for a fall service project we have coming this September during the feast week of Saint Vincent de Paul (Sept. 24-Oct.1st). Our plan is to put together some caring bags for the homeless. Thank you in advance for your help with this. Any questions can be sent

Box Tops

Please make sure you save your box tops over the summer. This important program generates approximately $1,200 each school year.

Annual Appeal for Science Modules

As parents, you invest in our mission with your tuition payments. There is a widening gap however between tuition revenue and the cost of providing an exceptional education. The Annual Appeal helps bridge this gap as we work to sustain and expand our educational programs. This year, we are asking for your support to help purchase hands on science modules. These tools support the next generation science standards that will be adopted next school year. All donations, large or small, are significant. Granite School Kitchen Manger Position Open

Family Tent Event (Campout St. Vincent’s) LAST CALL

What could be more fun than camping out under the stars on the St. Vincent lower field with other families? Sign-ups are still being taken for this campout, which will be held on Satuday, June 4th at 3:00 p.m. to Sunday June 5th. $15 a person or $50 for a family (5 and under free). Auction 2017!!! COME JOIN OUR TEAM

Save the date for next year’s auction which will be on February 11, 2017!! By popular demand, next year’s theme will be: “The Ultimate 80s Rewind”. Break out your legwarmers and acid washed jeans for the big event!

Planning for next year is already underway and we are looking for committee chairs. This is a great way to earn your PIP hours, make new friends within the St. Vincent community, and help plan the biggest party of the year. There are a variety of assignments available for every level of interest, talent, and time. First-time volunteers are particularly welcome!
