Christmas Food Drive
We will be doing a Christmas food drive November 20th – December 17th, so please have your student bring in their class’ assigned food. Donations will go to Saint Vincent Church, which is putting together Christmas food baskets for families in need. More and more people are coming to get food, so please donate if you can.
The Advent season begins December 2nd. Advent prayer books have and will be given out after Masses at the parish. Every MONDAY morning, Kindergarten will be doing an all-school Advent prayer service in the gym starting at 8:30 a.m.
All Students in grades 3rd – 8th will go to reconciliation this Advent during school hours.
IMC Christmas Luncheon
The school choirs and bell ringers will entertain our friends at the Intermountain Medical Center Christmas luncheon on Wednesday, December 12th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Auction Opportunity Drawing Information
The Auction Opportunity Drawing (formerly known as raffle) kick-off assembly will be on Thursday, December 13th. Your student will get their packets with contest information and their opportunity drawing tickets to sell. Please try to have them sell as many as possible. They are going home early again this year so you can sell to relatives over the holidays.
All School Masses
All School Masses are held each Friday at 9:00 a.m. where all of the children in the school go to Mass together. Our Mass on Friday, December 14th is in celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
7th/8th Grade Dance
Will be held December 14th from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament. Students must bring their student ID to attend.
Spirit dress day is Tuesday, December 18th. The theme is Christmas -or- Ugly Christmas Sweater. Students always have the option to wear St. Vincent spirit gear instead of the theme.
School Christmas Program
The annual Student Christmas Program will be held on Thursday, December 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the church. Come early for good seats.
No School (Christmas Holiday)
December 24th through January 4th. Classes resume Monday, January 7th.
On snowy days, students must bring snow boots, pants, hats, gloves, and coats in order to play in the snow at recess. Students go outside every day, even if it is cold, so please plan accordingly.
