February Masses

All School Masses are held each Friday at 9:00 a.m. Friday, February 2nd we will celebrate the end of Catholic Schools’ Week. We will also attend Mass on Wednesday, February 14th for Ash Wednesday. Our Mass on Friday, February 16th will be in celebration of the Feasts of our Saints of the Month: Saint .Josecito Sanchez del Rio (February 10) and Saint Charles Lwanga (June 3). Fifth grade will host that Mass on February 16th. You are welcome to attend all Masses and sit with your children!

7th and 8th Grade Middle School Dance

The 7th and 8th Grade School Dance will take place on Friday, February 2nd from 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Saint Olaf. Students must bring their student ID to attend.

New Student Registration

Student Registration Forms for new students are due February 9th. Acceptance/Wait List notifications will begin on February 23rd. Registration forms can be found on-line, or packets are available in our office.

Diocesan Science Fair

Will be held on Saturday, February 10th at Juan Diego Catholic High School in the gymnasium. Set-up is 8:00 – 9:00 a.m., judging will be from 9:00 a.m. -12:45 p.m. and will be closed to the public. Lunch is from Noon to 1:00 p.m. All parents are welcome to come from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. to view the projects. Awards will be presented from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. After the awards, all projects must be removed.

Auction News

An Evening at the Casino Royale will be Saturday, February 10, 2018. Silent Auction and Casino Games begin at 5:30 p.m. We hope all parents can try to attend this fundraiser. It is sure to be a great evening! If you cannot attend, please try to purchase raffle tickets, sign up for one of the party boards, or volunteer to help the night of the event.

Free Dress Pass Day

Tuesday, January 13th is free dress pass day for those who have a free dress coupon from one of their teachers. Free dress should always be modest and not reflect any messages or images that are inappropriate for our school environment.

No School

The school will be closed on Monday, February 19th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair runs Wednesday, February 21st through Friday, February 23rd in the school library. Times are Wednesday from 3:15 – 4:30 p.m. and from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. The library will also have a “wish list” for each teacher/grade if you want to purchase one of these books for the classroom.

Parent/Teacher Conferences & Student Art Show

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Thursday, February 22nd and Friday, February 23rd beginning at 12:30 p.m. Please sign up for a specific time online. See the Tuesday E-Blasts for details. Remember, these days are 12:30 p.m. dismissal days. There will also be an art show showcasing the art program and student artwork in the gym all day/evening Thursday and Friday.

Monthly Parish Mass

The 6th Grade Class will help host the celebration of Mass on Sunday, February 25th at 5:00 p.m. Please join us.

Spirit Day

Tuesday, February 27th is Spirit Day with a theme of “Wild Hat/Socks/Hair Day” – wear free dress with optional wild hat/socks/hair. Student Council will conduct a contest with prizes for the wildest hat/socks/hair.
