Classes Resume

Monday, January 7th classes resume from the Holiday Break.

7th and 8th Grade School Dance

The 7th and 8th Grade School Dance will take place on Friday, January 11th at the Madeleine Choir School at 6:30 pm. Students must bring their student ID to attend.

No School

The school will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of Martin Luther King Day.

St. Vincent Science Fair (7th & 8th Grades)

All parents are invited to come see the great science fair projects in the Holy Family Hall on Wednesday, January 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Awards will be given out on Thursday, January 24th in the school gym at 8:30 a.m.

Open House for Prospective Parents

Saint Vincent will host its annual Open House on Sunday, January 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The newly renovated Nano Nagle Children’s Center and parish church will also be open for tours. Please tell your friends, neighbors, and co-workers about our great school and invite them to the open house! We also have a Referral Program at our school. If you recommend a family to come to our school, they register, and they list you on their application, you can be eligible to up to $500 towards tuition for the next school year.

Catholic Schools Week

During the week of January 27th through February 2nd, our school and students will participate in activities for Catholic Schools Week. Tuesday, January 29th is the parent/student lunch. Families whose last names begin with A – J will have lunch from 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.; last names beginning with K – Z will have lunch from 12:35 to 1:05 p.m. The all school Mass on Friday, February 1st will be in celebration of Catholic Schools Week and is being hosted by Student Council.

Spirit Day

Students can wear St. Vincent School spirit wear on Tuesday, January 29th.

Auction Information

“Sci-Fi -N- Superhero Soiree” will be held in the school gym and Holy Family Hall on Saturday, March 2, 2019. Reservations are required. Reservation forms will be sent home with all students on January 8th. Watch for online reservation information and a link in the Tuesday E- blasts. Cost is $90 per person prior to February 8th and $100 thereafter. Price includes appetizers, dinner, adult beverages, and $25 in gaming tokens for the casino tables.

Opportunity Drawing tickets were sent home in December. Turn-in dates are January 11and 25, as well as February 8 and 22. Please take some time and read through all the information and watch for sales updates in the weekly Tuesday E-blasts.

We are always looking for items for our live and silent auctions. If you have something to donate, know someone, or a business you can get a donation from, please bring it in to the school. Any donation is greatly appreciated (please, no alcohol this year); no item is too small. Volunteers are also needed. If you would like to get involved, please call the Development Office at 801-527-2043.

Dress Code

On snow days, students must bring snow boots, pants, hats, gloves, and coats in order to play in the snow at recess. Students go outside every day, even if it is cold, so please plan accordingly.
