No School

School will be closed Thursday, March 29th – Sunday, April 8th for Easter and spring break. Classes resume Monday, April 9th.

April Masses

All School Masses are held each Friday at 9:00 a.m. The 7th grade will host Mass on Friday, April 20th.

Play-Well TEKnologies After School Program

St. Vincent will have LEGO Engineering classes for grades K-1 and 2-5. Classes are Mondays from 3:15 – 4:45 p.m. from April 9th through May 7th. The cost is $80 for 5 sessions. You may register your child at play-well.org.

Free Dress Pass Day

Tuesday, April 10th is free dress pass day for those who have a free dress coupon from one of their teachers. Free dress should always be modest and not reflect any messages or images that are inappropriate for our school environment.

After School Karate Program

Saint Vincent School will host 4 karate sessions on Wednesdays April 11th, April 18th, April 25th, and May 2nd from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. The classes are open to students in grades 1 through 8. The cost is $50; please bring a check to the office to save your spot.

Viking Track Club

Mr. McCloud will begin the Viking Track Club for 5th through 8th graders on April 11th and continuing for 5 weeks, every Wednesday and Saturday through May 9th. The culminating event is the Judge Memorial Track Meet on Saturday, May 12th (for elementary and middle school students).

Internet Safety Presentation

The school will host an internet safety night for parents on Thursday, April 12th from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the gym. There will be a 45 minute presentation, followed by time for questions, for parents/guardians of the school and parish. The presentation covers important topics and provides resources for parents on how to protect their children from online predators via social media and console games. It also educates them on how to setup privacy settings, as well as the dangers and consequences of sexting and cyber-bullying. You will receive 1 PIP hour for each parent who attends.

FACTS Tuition Aid Deadline

Friday, April 13th is the FACTS application deadline for current and prospective families.

Monthly Parish Mass

The 1st Grade Class will host the Mass celebration on Sunday, April 15th at 9:00 a.m. Please join us.

St. Vincent School Night at ZUPAS

Join us Tuesday, April 17th between 5:00 and 9:00 p.m. for the first annual St. Vincent School night at ZUPAS Cafe Ft. Union, located at 1400 East Fort Union Blvd. Our school can receive up to 25% of the proceeds that night during our designated time. So why cook that night? The more families who come, the more opportunity to reach our full earning potential.

7th/8th Grade All Catholic Schools Dance

Will be Friday, April 20th, 6:30 p.m., at St. Vincent School. Students must bring their student ID to attend.

Spirit Day

Tuesday, April 24th is Spirit Day. The theme is “Decades Day,” and students can wear clothing from any decade, St. Vincent spirit wear, or school colors of red, navy blue, and white.

Grandparents’ Day

Casino Royale Grandparents’ Day at Saint Vincent School is on Friday, April 27th. The day begins with 9 a.m. Mass at Saint Vincent Parish. If going to Mass, please arrive by 8:45 a.m. to be seated with your grandchildren. Join us at 9:45 a.m. for Continental Breakfast in Holy Family Hall (for grandparents, friends, and parents only), and then at 10:30 a.m. join us for the Musical Program in School Gym and see the entire school perform great music with a James Bond inspired theme. Following the program, you are welcome to walk to the classroom with your student(s) and check them out with their teacher for the day.

Confirmation for the Parish and School will be held Sunday, April 29th at 5:00 p.m. in the church.
