Diocese Science Fair

Congratulations to the following students who won in the Catholic Diocesan Science Fair.

1st Place – Trevor McMillan 8th Grade
1st Place – Sam Gustafson 7th Grade

Teo Kjolesth for making the top 10%

These students will be presenting at the University of Utah Science & Engineering Fair.


Spelling Bee Winners!

Congratulations to all of the students in grades 4-8 who participated in the spelling bee!

Catalina Reichard in 6th Grade placed 1st by spelling “sachet.” Sam Gustafson in 7th Grade placed 2nd. Matthew Evans and Cara Linke who tied for 3rd. Catalina and Sam will represent the school in the Salt Lake County Spelling Bee.


During Parent Teacher Conferences, parents received an order for MyCards. This card was designed by your child(ren). If you would like to place an order, forms are due no later than Friday, February 15. Orders will be delivered in 6-8 weeks.

No School

This is a quick reminder that there is no school, including Extended Day, on Monday, February 18th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

Spirit Dress

Spirit Day will be Tuesday, February 26th. The theme is “Favorite Team Day.”

Catholic Speaker, Patrick Madrid

Popular Catholic author and Relevant Radio host, Patrick Madrid, is coming to speak in Utah at 9AM on February 23rd! Patrick Madrid will give his talk “Surprised By Truth: Why are So Many Non-Catholics Becoming Catholic?” After his talk, there will be a short break and then a Q&A session. This event is open to all and will take place at the Auditorium at Judge Memorial Catholic High School. For more details and to reserve your spot, please visit Cost is $20 per person. Mass Collection – Thank You!

Our 3rd grade class would like to thank everyone who donated towards the Catholic Community Services. The class raised $517.41.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Luck of the leprechauns are upon us and we are gearing up to march in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This year the parade is Saturday, March 16th. If anyone is interested in getting volunteer hours and helping with the float please contact Tamara Shapiro.

We could use some help fixing up the trailer with some fresh paint and updating some of the decorations!!

More details to come about participating in the parade, all are welcome to join and represent our school in the parade!!
