Help Needed at St. Vincent de Paul
St. Vincent de Paul Parish and School is looking to hire someone to help on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (8 hours) and Fridays (4 hours), with the possibility of moving to full-time. The job is to clean Holy Family Hall, set up for events, and help with miscellaneous tasks around campus. The applicant must be hard-working, able to take direction, and be able to work well with others. Pay is $10-$12 per hour based on experience. LEGO Engineering After-School Classes at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School
St. Vincent will have LEGO Engineering classes for grades K-1, and 2-5. Classes are Thursdays from 3:15 – 4:45 p.m. from January 17th through February 21st. The cost is $80 for 5 sessions. You may register your child at play-well.org.

Free Throw Contest
Please join the Knights of Columbus as they sponsor the annual Free Throw Contest – Sunday, January 20th. Doors open at 12:30 pm. The event will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Parish School in the gym and is open to Boys and Girls ages 9-14. This great event is free of charge.
There is no school (including extended day) on Monday, January 21st in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
This month our 3rd grade class be doing a Mass collection on Friday, January 25th, for Catholic Community Services of Utah.
Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School Open House
Our Open House will be Sunday January 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please encourage neighbors, friends, co-workers, and family members to come to see why Saint Vincent School is so GREAT!
The number one reason why new families come to our school is word of mouth from parents like you! At Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School we have a parent referral program for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. This program rewards those who assist in bringing new students to our school. Qualifying referrals are rewarded with a $500 credit off next year’s tuition.
The newly renovated and expanded Nano Nagle Children’s Center (Infant through 3 year olds) will also be open for tours during this time.

Spirit Day Dress
Spirit Wear Day will be Tuesday, January 29th. Students may wear Saint Vincent Spirit Wear or the school colors of red, blue, and white.
Girls On The Run
Registration is now open for Girls on the Run!!! Girls on the Run is a transformational, physical activity based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. The program will run from March 11th until June 1st. Practices will be held at St Vincent on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:15. Please visit girlsontherunutah.org for more information and to register.

Auction Reservations and Sponsorship Opportunities Now Available
Auction tickets are now on sale! Cost is $90 per person prior to February 8th and $100 thereafter. (Includes appetizers, dinner, adult beverages and $25 in gaming tokens.) Reservation forms were sent home with students either yesterday or today. Additional forms are also available in the office. Online reservations are available at this link: Auction Reservations.
Circle of Heroes Patron Tables
Sign up early for the best seats in the house! Limited availability. Cost is $1,200 and includes preferred seating for eight , appetizers, dinner, adult beverages, $25 in gaming tokens (per person), and choice of a Superhero Theme for your table. A list of theme options will be made available once all patron tables are sold out. Choices will be made in order of receipt in the Development Office.
