Report Cards

We will email 2nd quarter reports cards on Wednesday, January 9th. Please contact the school office if you have any questions.

Vision Testing

We will do vision tests for students on Monday, January 14th in the following grades, as well as for any new students: Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th.

LEGO Engineering After-School Classes

St. Vincent will have LEGO Engineering classes for grades K-1, and 2-5. Classes are Thursdays from 3:15 – 4:45 p.m. from January 17th through February 21st. The cost is $80 for 5 sessions. You may register your child at

Girls On The Run

Registration is now open for Girls on the Run!!! Girls on the Run is a transformational, physical activity based, positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while establishing a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness. The program will run from March 11th until June 1st. Practices will be held at St Vincent on Tuesdays from 3:30-5:15. Please visit for more information and to register.

Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School Open House

Our Open House will be Sunday January 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please encourage neighbors, friends, co-workers, and families to come to see why Saint Vincent School is so GREAT!

The number one reason why new families come to our school is word of mouth from parents like you! At Saint Vincent de Paul Parish School we have a parent referral program for grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. This program rewards those who assist in bringing new students to our school. Qualifying referrals are rewarded with a $500 credit off next year’s tuition.

The newly renovated and expanded Nano Nagle Children’s Center (Infant through 3 year olds) will also be open for tours during this time.

Conversations With Louise Best

This fall, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to sit down with our school’s founding teacher, Louise Best, and talk with her about how St. Vincent School was started. Mass Collection

This month our 3rd grade class be doing a Mass collection on Friday, January 25th, for Catholic Community Services of Utah.

Auction Reservations and Sponsorship Opportunities Now Available

Auction tickets are now on sale! Cost is $90 per person prior to February 8th and $100 thereafter. (Includes appetizers, dinner, adult beverages and $25 in gaming tokens.) Reservation forms were sent home with students either yesterday or today. Additional forms are also available in the office. Click here to register online.

Circle of Heroes Patron Tables
Sign up early for the best seats in the house! Limited availability. Cost is $1,200 and includes preferred seating for eight , appetizers, dinner, adult beverages, $25 in gaming tokens (per person), and choice of a Superhero Theme for your table. A list of theme options will be made available once all patron tables are sold out. Choices will be made in order of receipt in the Development Office.

First Opportunity Drawing Turn-In Day This Friday

This Friday, January 11th is our first Auction Opportunity Drawing turn-in date. We could use volunteers to help count at 8:30 a.m. If you can help, please email Therese Clay at

The following are all ways you and your class can earn prizes:

Individual Achievements
Every $20 gets you a *FREE DRESS PASS and an ACTION CATCHPHRASE WRISTBAND (new color for every $20). You can wear your wristbands every day until the auction.

*You can earn up to 4 free dress passes that can be used only on the following five Mondays: January 14th, January 28th, February 11th, February 25th and March 4th. Please note, students can only earn up to 4 free dress passes, but we added a 5th day in the event someone forgets to turn in on the first Friday.

Sell $100 in tickets and you are officially a member of the SUPERHERO LEAGUE with a special invitation to the SUPERHERO BASH including activities and treats during school!

Top Overall Student Winners:
1st Prize: $100 Cash
2nd Prize: $75 Cash
3rd Prize: $50 Cash

Weekly Top Three Students: Get the opportunity to pick from an assortment of $10 gift cards.

Top 3 Super Classes: The overall top 3 classes that sell the most raffle tickets during the 5-week period will have their choice of three awesome parties.
