New Teachers

We are happy to announce that the school has hired a 7th grade homeroom/English-Language Arts teacher for the middle school. Her name is Rachel Nemelka and she has her Masters Degree in English Education from Arizona State University. She has taught English-Language Arts at the middle and high school levels for four years. Mrs. Nemelka’s love for students and enthusiasm for teaching were quite apparent when she taught lessons for our 6th and 7th grade classes in May. Welcome, Mrs. Nemelka!

We are also pleased to announce our new Physical Education teacher, Mrs. Nanette Parson. Mrs. Parson has taught P.E. for 11 years, seven years at Juan Diego High School and four at Edgemont Elementary in Canyons School District. She taught lessons for the 4th and 5th graders in May, and Mrs. Parson is clearly very comfortable and skilled with every aspect of P.E. and elementary school. Mrs. Parson is an alumna of St. Vincent School and is excited to be back. Welcome, Mrs. Parson!
