Parent Involvement Program (PIP)

Under this program, families are required to complete 20 hours of volunteer work on school-related activities for grades K-8; 10 hours for pre-school and single-parent families. The Home and School Association and our development office provide numerous opportunities for volunteering in the school. Volunteer hours completed for the parish may be counted toward the total number of hours. In addition, please talk to your child’s teacher or the school office; they have a variety of volunteer opportunities. You will record your PIP hours through FACTS Family Portal. Please call the office with any questions. PIP hours are not transferable, however, the opportunity for grandparents to complete PIP hours is extended within a family.

PIP hours must be reported through the FACTS Family Portal not later than June 15th each year and the balance of incomplete hours for each family will be billed to the family account on file thereafter. The service substitution fee is $10 per hour for every hour not completed.

Reporting PIP Hours:

Please report PIP hours monthly. Please continue to report your PIP hours even after you’ve exceeded your minimum.
You will record your PIP hours in FACTS Family Portal (instead of Parents Web). Below are the steps on how to record your PIP hours.

  1. Login to FACTS Family Portal here.
  2. Click on Family Information.
  3. Click on Service Hours.
  4. Click on Add Service Hours and complete information.

Please contact the school office with any questions.

PIP Opportunities:

Each family is responsible for initiating the opportunity for finding hours. The teachers, the Home and School Association (HSA) and our development office provide numerous opportunities for volunteering in the school. Opportunities are communicated in the weekly “Blast” emails, via the Volunteer Spot site (see info below) and directly from teachers.

Please see weekly school email blasts for volunteer opportunities.
